Since 2006, the Müther tower is a popular place of mourning with almost 360 degree panoramic views. The former rescue tower of the Binz architect Ulrich Müther is one of the branch offices of the official registry office in the Haus des Gastes. Located directly on Strandzugang 6, it offers through its large windows a unique view of the Baltic Sea up to the chalk cliffs of the peninsula Jasmund.In the 1960s, Ulrich Müther laid the foundation for extravagant Hyparschalenkonstruktionen, based on the Binzer rescue tower was built in 1981. Müther's concrete buildings attracted worldwide attention.
