Ernst Preising (born September 25, 1911 in Osterode am Harz; † August 12, 2007 in Bispingen) was a German plant sociologist and conservationist in Lower Saxony.
He was particularly involved in the planning and implementation of the renaturation of heath and moor areas, including the recultivation of the red areas in the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve, areas that have been used for military purposes since the 1930s.
