The approximately 2.4 kilometer trail starts at the parking lot on the B3. It is very easy to drive and mostly flat except for a small gradient. A few roots and otherwise forest floor with a bit of mud. Here you could also easily ride a city bike. A nice entry into the NSG Lüneburg Heath towards the Wümmeberg. The parking lot is free of charge.
