Hiking
In 1755, Margrave Friedrich decided to build a new hunting lodge in Kaiserhammer. In 1756 and 1757 a large, three-wing castle building was built. After that, the castle fell into disrepair. Margrave Alexander ordered the buildings to be sold into private hands in 1770. Since no buyer could be found for the actual castle building, the main wing was ordered to be demolished in 1792.
