The pottery museum is located in one of the most beautiful half-timbered houses in Kohren-Sahlis. It was built in 1763 as a pottery house and operated as a pottery workshop until 1957. The history of the Kohrener potters has been brought to life in the pottery museum since 1961. There were once 14 master potters and a potters' guild founded in 1656. In addition to the permanent exhibition with old Kohrener ceramics from the 17th to the 20th century, the guild jewels and working materials, an originally preserved pottery room can also be visited here.
