Out on the bike again today. First out of Stralsund. Towards Greifswald, a quick dip in the Baltic Sea, freezing cold. Then by ferry to Rügen and from there through the villages to Garz. Back along the waterfront to the old Rügen Causeway. Rügen is really great, but the wind is always in my face. 🙆♂️

From Stralsund to Hiddensee, the Deutschlandticket is only valid from Schaprode. The time window is also very tight. Approx. 3h is a bit short. So we decided on an alternative. With the last ferry at 17:30 to Schaprode. Then by bus to Bergen and from there by train to Stralsund. An adventure, but it worked out.🙆♂️

Frankfurt (Oder) is quite picturesque. Today we rode and walked through the Fischerkiez and the city center on our way to the Oder. Afterwards, we went to Küstrin. There, through the "stare Miasto" (Old Town) Pompeii on the Oder. The Old Town now consists only of ruins, cellars, and street layouts.

From Guben, it went towards the Neißeradweg and then to the mouth of the Neisse into the Oder. Along the Oder, it was almost like along the Elbe, up the dike and down again. There were more and more cyclists. Something is missing in terms of entertainment along the way 😜
