The old Rurbrücke is not as nice as the new, but interesting.

Beautiful mix of mountain and lake trails with stunning panoramic views. Little other hikers or bikers.

From here you have a good panoramic view

The old Rur bridge is an important transition if you want to bypass the reservoir at Obermaubach in one go.
The new bridge is just a few meters upriver. Here the path does not lead to Obermaubach but to Zerkall.

Great view of the Rur and the way here is (especially on Sundays in good weather) not as crowded, as with the neighboring bridge 😉

Visited on a circular route around the Obermaubach reservoir. Very nice hike
