Even though not much remains of the former Bertaburg, you can still enjoy the magnificent view from the almost 740-meter-high spur of the Kornberg. Some depressions and ditches are still visible today. According to legend, the castle takes its name from the widow Berta von Boll, who is said to have lived here.
