The Kaisertor, also previously called the Kaiserturm, is not one of the four city gates, but is a brick substructure of the former gate tower from the 13th century. Built over in 1899 by the seafaring school. The Kaisertor enables the passage of the ramparts, from the canal to Wallstraße, this goes from Mühlenstraße, with a view of the mill pond and Lübeck Cathedral or vice versa, with a view of the Elbe-Lübeck Canal. Unfortunately, it is a bit out of the way, and therefore unknown to many Lübeck residents and, unfortunately, little noticed by the Hanseatic City of Lübeck.
