This has been decorating the marketplace since 1976. Created by Hans Breker, the sculpture of a two-tailed lion leaning on a wheel can be seen on a pillar, as well as the medialions on the fountain itself with the coats of arms of the formerly independent communities Breitscheid, Eggerscheidt, Homberg, Hösel and Lintorf.
