The Silver Lake is 27 ha in size and is used for peaceful recreation and nature observation. On the lake there is a 1-acre gravel and reed island. The southern shores were equipped as a low-vegetation area with smaller ponds, perennials and reed beds. In this way, there is a diverse habitat for various species of water birds.
