The 802-meter-long structure spans the New Maas with a 410-meter asymmetric cable-stayed bridge, which has a 278-meter main opening and a white, 139-meter-high, angled pylon. It is the largest and heaviest bascule bridge in Western Europe.

From the Wilhelminapier with its striking mix of classical and modern architecture you have a beautiful view of the Erasmus Bridge and this is an ideal photo location. At night the Erasmus Bridge is illuminated and that is a spectacular sight! Also sail under the Erasmus Bridge.
