The water lily pond, a former quarry, is only fed by rainwater and strata water - the pond is owned by the Protestant parish. It is thanks to her and IG Friedewald, as well as many other associations and helpers, that the water lily pond has been experienced as such again since 2018/2019. Previously, debris and mud had caused the pond to worry about silting up. Please support IG Friedewald to preserve this natural treasure.
