Always a worthwhile hiking destination, especially because of the location above the Elbe and the interesting lines of sight to Meissen, the Bosel and towards Weinböhla.

The Batzdorfer Totenhäuschen, which is of course a garden and pleasure house, was built in 1628 by one of the von Miltitzers. Why the name "dead house" is unclear, possibly due to some deaths at the time of construction. Sometimes also called "coffee or tea house", you have a sensational view over the Elbe to the Spargebirge.
