Haselsee

The Haselsee is fed by the Hasel brook, which has its source near Haselstein. The Haselsee and the nearby Bürgerpark form the local recreation area of Hünfeld. Pedal boats and rowing boats can be hired in the Café am Haselsee.

Around the lake, the Grimms Fairy Tale Trail with figures invites you to listen and marvel and to take a journey into the realm of fairy tales. A children's playground, a multi-purpose tower, a soccer field for recreational teams, and an ice rink in winter are other attractive offers around the Haselsee. A nature trail with an adjoining bee and insect trail on the Haselsee has also become a highlight for visitors.
