Hiking

This bridge spans over 3 water outlets. The Haune mostly uses only 2 culverts. The third passage is only used at high tide. For many years, this old bridge has largely served its purpose. Until the construction of the new reinforced concrete bridge, which now leads over the B27, the railway line and the Haune, the Haune had to be crossed on this old stone bridge. The crossing of the railway line was secured by a barrier system. Before the often closed barriers then had always formed long snakes; after all, this railway is a busy mainline in north-south direction.
