Hiking

The rocks are part of a unique biotope created by erosion and soil weathering. The hiking trails around Gehaansfiels lead through narrow rock passages and offer spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. Particularly recommended is the "Schöne Aussicht – Gehaansfiels Runde" (Beautiful View – Gehaansfiels Loop) from Dillingen, a moderately difficult hike with varied topography.

Often referred to as the Little Switzerland of Luxembourg, Mullerthal - or Mëllerdall in Luxembourgish – owes its name to its hilly landscape reminiscent of Switzerland. The Mullerthal Region is above all a unique biotope characterized by rock formations that are as beguiling as they are surprising.
