The basement (with a large hall) is massive, the upper floor is half-timbered with ornamental carvings, mainly fan rosettes. Bay porches with slate-covered towers from 1593/94.
Remodeling and renovation 1870 - 1908. Since the city administration moved to the New Town Hall in 1996, it has been used by municipal and other institutions.

  • The old town of Einbeck is worth a visit. Very beautiful old half-timbered houses and a great gastronomy or cafes.
