The Sargstedter Warte is the middle waiting room along the waiting path. The Paulskopfwarte to the east and the Heikethalewarte to the west formed a closed observation system to protect the area and the roads leading to Halberstadt. The tower was already a ruin by 1800 and was converted into a lookout tower in 1894.
From here you have a beautiful view of Halberstadt and the Harz

The wait itself is not particularly interesting, but the view is just great. I think not many waits can keep up - except the Seweckenwarte in Quedlinburg and the Heimburger Warte in Heimburg.
