Hiking
From the beginning of the 17th century until the middle of the 19th century. The Langenbrückentor guarded the western city entrance. Its name derives from the "long bridges" spanning several waters. At that time the road led to Lüdinghausen. Today, only the bell folk and the peperlake exist (inundation of the castle Lüdinghausen); the witch colony was filled up. The front building was rebuilt in 1930 in the style of the so-called Neo-Weser Renaissance, the low building added in 1951.
