Large, beautiful and impressive church in Lüdinghausen
    Source: Wikipedia
The current St. Felizitas Church is the third in its location. The foundation stone of the choir was laid on February 28, 1507 (the second Sunday of Lent). St. Felizitas is east-facing, i.e. the choir faces east and the main portal - i.e. the tower - faces west. Construction of the tower did not begin until June 8, 1515 - the day after Corpus Christi. It took 43 years to work on it. It should be noted that the Anabaptist unrest in Münster around 1524 put a stop to the construction of the tower. After this unrest, construction progressed very slowly. The church was completed in 1558.

"St. Felizitas is a typical Westphalian, late Gothic hall church and is built from light, slightly yellowish Baumberg sandstone.
The current St. Felizitas Church was built between 1507 and 1558, later changes were made to the tower, the roof and the sacristy, and around 1910 the side chapel on the south side and the entrance hall on the north side were added." Source: muensterland.de
