The Berlin–Wriezen railway line, also known as the Wriezen Railway, is a branch line in Berlin and Brandenburg that opened in 1898. It runs from Berlin-Lichtenberg station (until 1938: Lichtenberg-Friedrichsfelde) via Ahrensfelde, Werneuchen and Tiefensee northeast to Wriezen in the Oderbruch.
In 1998, the line from Werneuchen to Wriezen was closed. Reactivation is now being discussed.

Hiking

The railway line is part of the former Werneuchen – Tiefensee – Leuenberg – Wriezen railway line. During GDR times, the train ran from Ahrensfelde to Wriezen. The part was later decommissioned from Werneuchen. The RB25 now runs between Berlin-Ostkreuz and Werneuchen.
