The Gustav Garden, laid out in the English style, is the only one of the Prince's Gardens to have been completely preserved. Elements of its original design can still be admired today. It bears the signature of Gustav, but above all that of his wife Louise Friederike, who grew up in the Wörlitz Garden Kingdom as a princess of the House of Anhalt-Dessau. Since 1988, the park, Villa Wertheimber, the gatehouse, and the Doric Temple have been listed as historical monuments. In 2011, the city purchased the Gustav Garden. Currently, one can only glimpse into the Gustav Garden through the gate. The magnificent villa, built by the Frankfurt banker Wertheimber in 1898, was one of the filming locations for the television series "Geld Macht Liebe" (Money Makes Love).
