The small pine forest is located directly opposite the Gustavsgarten and dates back to the Anglo-Chinese style that was modern in the 18th century. Landgrave Friedrich V. Ludwig and Caroline created what is now the jewel of the Landgrave's garden landscape here from 1772 onwards.
