Tips
Sea-going vessels up to 130 metres long, 16 metres wide and 5.8 metres deep can dock in Glückstadt's outer harbour. It has been operated since 1995 by Glückstadt Port GmbH, a subsidiary of the Schramm Group. The inland harbour behind the barrier is now only of interest to sport and leisure boating.

Glücksstadt is worth a day trip - we didn't see everything even in 2 days. Very nice and interesting, good restaurants and nice shops ..
