At the top of the Insulaner hill in Berlin-Schöneberg is the Wilhelm Foerster Observatory. On a clear day, you can gaze through the large telescope, the "Bamberg Refractor," and observe numerous celestial objects.
At the foot of the hill is the Planetarium am Insulaner, which is being expanded into a modern educational center from July 2023 until 2026, and is therefore temporarily closed.
