More than 75 of the small green houses with red roofs called “Melkhus” have already opened their doors in Lower Saxony. The idea behind this is to offer regional milk specialties directly at the point of production and, at the same time, an insight into the work of farms. With a glass of refreshing mixed milk drinks, a milk café, quark dishes, ice cream and other regional delicacies, the cyclists will fortify themselves here for the onward journey.
