The Vurnik House, or the former Cooperative Bank, on Miklošičeva Street, is one of the most famous buildings in Ljubljana. With its richly decorated facade, it partially stands out from the frame of its otherwise similarly vibrant Art Nouveau part of the city. Built in 1921 by architect Ivan Vurnik, it is considered one of the finest examples of national style architecture.
