Who would have thought that? A fantastic park just a few kilometers by bike from Halle.There is also a café in the castle, which is probably only open on Sundays.

The original park was created between 1778 and 1784 in the style of an English landscape garden by the then 20-year-old landscape gardener Johann George Gottlieb Schoch on behalf of Carl Christoph von Hoffmann. The model was the Wörlitz Park.
