The Haren-Rütenbrock Canal (HRK) is a 13.5 km long canal that runs between Haren (Ems) via Rütenbrock in Emsland in Lower Saxony and Ter Apel. Alongside the Ems Canal, which flows into the Dollart at Delfzijl, it is the only navigable connection between Germany and the Netherlands north of the Rhine.
