Hiking
A stone plaque commemorating that the German General Kreipe, kidnapped by the English (with the help of Cretan partisans), was embarked for Egypt from here in May 1944. Kreipe wasn't that bad, unfortunately they got the wrong guy. Everything described here: welt.de/kultur/literarischewelt/article138587185/Wie-die-Wehrmacht-den-General-Kreipe-verlor.html
