The town hall in Heideck was built from 1479 to 1481. The late Gothic town hall is a protected monument. It has been used as a town hall since 1851. The stepped gables are particularly remarkable in sandstone construction. The loading hatch with elevator beam is still available.

The town hall was from 1479 to 1481 under Louis IX. built by Bayern-Landshut. The rare stepped gables on the dominant sandstone building are particularly noteworthy. The original function of the building in the late Middle Ages was grain storage. It has been the town hall since 1851. A special attraction is the chandelier from the 16th century, the so-called chandelier female. Despite the ambitions of the Bavarian National Museum in Munich, the city managed to keep this special feature in Heideck.
