The Warnemünde beach promenade is a mecca for strollers in every season of the year: the promenade of around two kilometers leads young and old past glamorous beach villas and wide sand dunes. In the east, the promenade is bordered by the tea pot and what is probably the most famous landmark of the Baltic Sea resort - the Warnemünde lighthouse; at the western end it flows into the coastal forest. Drivers and cyclists are not allowed to drive the mile - skateboarders, inline skaters and of course "tricycle and scooter pilots" like to zoom over the smooth stone slabs.
