A footpath and the Cumbrian Coast line cross the River Mite here, with splendid views to the sea and inland to the fells of Lakeland. If you are on foot, it is a far better option to use the bridge than to cross the muddy ford at low tide, which could be dangerous.

Great little path over to Ravenglass.

This part after the bridge along the railroad is not for biking, and the gate vas impossible to get theoug. We had to lift our bikes over.
