Hellingen:
The monumental individual parts - each over two meters high and weighing around 150 kilograms - now adorn a stretch of land near Hellingen in the Hildburghausen district, right on the former German-German border. A road leads from Thuringia to Bavaria here and here the Day of Unity is celebrated and lived by the people every year, says Heldburg's mayor Christopher Other. The monument is to be inaugurated on October 3rd.
