Shortly after the summit of the Latschenkopf the path divides to the Benediktenwand. The variant over the back of the armpit heads requires absolute sure-footedness and a head for heights. Some passages are rocky and secured with wire rope.

You can also choose the simple option and follow the path towards "Benediktenwand-Tutzinger Hütte-Längental-Arzbach". This path (marked with a red dot) leads you below the steeply rising cliffs of the Achselköpfe.

Beautiful path along the ridge with lots of sun and great views. However, it is about a lot of boulders and stones to climb, therefore, proper footwear is required. (A rule that many tourists do not follow ...).
