This beautiful hike is partly on the sunny side. It goes briskly up past alpine meadows and past huts, right in the middle of the Brauneck ski area. Of course you can do it comfortably - like many others - and get on the gondola. But with a hike uphill is the wonderful summit view of the Karwendel and the Wettersteingebirge all the more reward for the effort. The round is well signposted and often follows the track - but good shoes are an absolute must not to slip on the gravel. And one should not forget to turn around again and again and to enjoy the view. There is a bank on the way, of course, just right.

A classic and mountain hike belongs in the Bavarian Prealps. The summit panorama is unparalleled and a visit to the nice Lenggrieser Hütte make this mountain experience an all-round successful tour, which is very popular not only with locals but also with guests.

Over the large mountain trail it goes promising to Latschenkopf, down to the Probstensattel. From here on the southern flank back to the ideal slope and down to the Stie-Alm; Here is the hut retreat with homemade alp cheese. The way back to the mountain station is on a comfortable path over alpine terrain. Down to Lenggries by gondola or on foot.

This easy and beautiful hiking tour leads around the 1125 meter high, wooded Roßkopf. On the so-called Faller Rundweg you also hike above the Rottenbachklamm gorge, to the Dürrachklammbrücke bridge and over the Wiesalm back to Fall, where you will enjoy a fantastic view of the Sylvesteinspeicher.

Pure dream background: This hike to the Hochalm leads us to the panoramic terrace of the Alps on the Achenpass and on lonely paths to hidden bathing places. You cross the main road and follow the signpost to Hochalm. The path is marked with a red dot and leads past the Stuben-Alm. At the height of the Mitterer Alm you come to a fork and wander up to the dilapidated Hochalm. Now it is only a few meters to the summit peak of the Hochalm. You can expect a meadow summit with impressive panoramic views, for example, the Benediktenwand, in the valley to the towns of Lenggries and Bad Tölz, in the Blauberge, Guffert and far into the Hohe Tauern with the Grossglockner and Rofan, in the Karwendelgebirge and the Zugspitze. On the descent, it first goes back to Mitterer Alm. Behind the hut, the path continues to a forest road that brings you to Glashütte. You cross these and stay on the narrow path, which continues directly on the other side. So you come to the bathing places on the Grossweißache. From here it is only a few meters to Glashütte. There you turn right behind the fire station and walk on the footpath back to Stuben.

On the Reiseralm you can enjoy the beautiful view of Lenggries and the mountains in the east of the Isar Valley. One goes from Lenggries over the Isarbrücke to the Brauneckbahn valley station. Here start two variants: a) over the restaurant Jaegers in serpentines directly to the Reiseralm or b) already before the forest road left past the mountain railway, slightly uphill along the stream to the hut, which is farmed all year round.

This hike starts at the Wanderparkplatz in the Rißtal, which you reach from Lenggries, behind the Sylvensteinspeichersee, towards Vorderriß and Hinterriß. The walk on the Schafreuter leads you across wide, partly steep, forest roads, small meadow paths and a trail. The summit and the views are just great. The descent from the summit to the Tölzer Hütte is a bit more demanding than the ascent, so here are short rocky passages secured with wire rope. Dizziness and surefootedness are absolutely recommendable for this, more than rewarding, round trip.

The hike to the Geierstein is crisp, it goes quite steeply up through the forest. Of course you can enjoy the best view at the summit. The tour is especially recommended in the early morning and late afternoon in good weather.

The best comes last! The best point is probably not the highest for this tour, because the summit of the summit is completely wooded and thus gives no panorama. The hike on the little-visited peaks through the wonderful, enchanted forests, on shady paths is still worthwhile. On the descent you should visit the mountain inn Denkalm. Here you can enjoy the well-earned view to the Karwendel while eating the delicious Kaiserschmarrns.
