The tour starts in Lenggries at the parish church of St. Jakob. From here the path leads first to Gaißach in the Steinbach valley. From there, the path winds in serpentines to the Aueralm. The Aueralm invites you to a delicious snack and from there I have a wonderful view over Lake Tegernsee. It continues now over the Neuhüttenalmen towards Hirschbachsattel. The way back to Lenggreis is now through the Hirschbach valley via the Hohenburg castle with the Hohenburger pond to the center of Lenggries.

The high-altitude hike leads to the Jachenau on the south side of the Brauneck ridge. From the mountain station it goes first to the Strasser Alm. Shortly below the alp, the path turns right and leads you to the Krottenalm. From there you hike on over the Scharnitzalm to the Bichleralm and over the Lainbach valley into the Jachenau. From the Jachenau you can take the RVO bus (9595) back to Lenggries.

Nice tour over blooming alpine pastures, impressive view of the northern Alps and the Upper Bavarian lakes. From the mountain station, the route climbs briefly up to the Brauneck summit cross with a unique, fascinating view of the high alpine chain of the Karwendel and northwards with a beautiful view of the Isar valley to Bad Tölz and, in good weather, to Munich. From here the path leads west past the paraglider and hang-glider starting point, then on a path below the Schrödelstein and through the freed alpine pastures to the panorama path.Return on the Panoramaweg or on to the Großer Höhenweg or on to the Almrundwanderweg.

The panorama path is an almost flat path that can also be used with all-terrain pushchairs. The hike begins at the mountain station (1500 m) and ends at the Tölzer Hütte (approx. 20 min.) From the Tölzer Hütte, the route is the same - this section is no longer suitable for pushchairs - first slightly downhill, past the Quenger Alm, the Strasser Alm and then ascending to the Stie-Alm with Almkäserei (45 min.). The way back is the same.

Mainly on the sunny side, the classic mountain tour with via ferrata (sure-footedness necessary) leads to the rock peaks with breathtaking panoramic views. We recommend cycling up to the Röhrlmoosalm! This tour in the gray area between the Isarwinkel and the Mangfall Mountains is only worthwhile if you cycle to the Röhrlmoosalm. After the following short forest climb on foot, you move freely above alpine meadows and a via ferrata to the Tegernseer hut with its wonderful panoramic terrace, which sticks to the rock like an eagle's nest. The rock head of the bookstone is only advisable for mountaineers. From the parking lot on a paved road, you cycle slightly upwards through meadows to the south-east, then steeply eastwards through the forest to a saddle and finally on a good gravel path across meadows to the Röhrlmoosalm (1100m). On the left edge of the alpine pasture you walk uphill on the initially grassy path, shortly northwards, then in the forest on a not always good path, shortening the serpentines upwards and steeply to a lookout bench at a hairpin bend.First cross parallel above the road, then ascend, then across open alpine meadows directly to the Roßsteinalm (1460m). Now it goes sharply to the right south and southeast on a well-rehabilitated path below the connecting ridge between Hochplatte and Roßstein, then we cross under the flat Roßstein south wall to the southern ascent (comes from Bayerwald in the Kreuther valley). We struggle to the left past the Roßstein needle up north to a via ferrata. On this it goes straight and up, followed by a somewhat arduous unsecured right crossing to the Tegernseer hut (1560m). For hikers who are not sure-footed, this is the end point of the tour. Those who are more confident can scramble over the short, arduous east ridge to the rocky Roßstein (1697m). Mountaineers climb behind the hut a wide, grippy but partly slimmed-down rock gully (II, 30 m ascent) and reach the summit of the Buchstein (1701m) on the somewhat slippery ridge. The descent follows the ascent route.

The path to the Hochalm is a varied ascent on the south side via a gentle ascending hiking path through a very light forest with sunny hillside meadows. The sunny-side tour of the popular hiking mountain is ideal for a family outing with children. The tour mainly leads on gently rising hiking trails through the very light forest with sunny hillside meadows. Highlights are the summit plateau with a view through the Isar valley onto the wild north face of the Demeljoch and over the entire Isar angle. The tour starts at the hiking park at the eastern end of Lake Sylvenstein. From there, the path first leads up a narrow forest path past beautiful pools and a small stream. Then the path becomes a narrow hiking trail. This path takes you to Hölleialm (not managed). From here the path leads you to the summit of the Hochalm (not managed). The way back is the same.

Challenging but wonderful and promising mountain tour. From the summit cross on Ochsenkamp you have a very nice view of Lake Tegernsee. The tour begins at the hiking car park behind Hohenburg Castle. From here the path leads into the Hirschbach Valley. Here you always hike along the slightly rising forest road. Follow this forest road into the mountain forest and always follow the signs for "Hirschbachsattel".After about 2 hours you will reach the Hirschbach saddle via this path. Here you leave the forest path and follow the climb to the Kampen. This path leads you in serpentines through a steep area overgrown with mountain pines to the summit of the Ochsenkamp. From up here you have a wonderful view of Lake Tegernsee.Descent: You now have the option of choosing the same route to descend, or you can hike further over the Auer and Spitzkamp to the Seekar summit and take the Sulzersteig for the descent. From here you get back to your starting point.

Hike through a remote high valley with a wide variety of flowers. In addition, the hike from Sylvenstein to Jachenau is a decided family tour. The hike begins at the Schrombachtal car park, below the Sylvenstein dam. The tour initially leads along the rustic Schrombach with its beautiful water pumps. The path continues over the Grabenalm and to the striking viewpoint "Rotwand" over the Jachenau - beautiful panorama with a view of the Benediktenwand and the Jachenau. Then the descent to Jachenau - Höfen follows. The return trip to Lenggries takes place with the bus 9595.
