In its more than 100-year history, the Schloss Golm manor has experienced many uses. The castle, which was commissioned by Niuta von den Bottlenberg in 1914, was often used as a guest house. His guests included film stars, deserving workers from the GDR and holiday camp children.

The actual castle park with the buildings is only accessible during the opening hours of the restaurant and for house guests. The only thing left is the wild beach, which also belongs to it - note the signs/parking regulations.
