In 1952, after the establishment of an electricity-operated mill in the village, the business was stopped and the old mills were demolished.
This mill was rebuilt by four men from Leideneck (the "mill spirits"; Jürgen Emmel, Erwin Lilienthal, Bernd Schneider, Horst Schneider) and can be visited as part of the nature trail
