The forty-meter-long bridge, designed by architect David Vávra, has spanned the Ohře since 2006, when it formed an entrance to the garden show grounds. Vávra was inspired by the drawbridge of a castle for his construction. The integrated, ten-meter-high observation tower completes the north side.
