The Finstere Rot - with its upper reaches "Ortsbach" and the "Blinde Rot" is located in the Welzheimer Forest/Baden-Württemberg
- the "Finstere Rot" "fills" the "Hagerwaldsee", the "Schwarze Rot" the "Hüttenbühlsee"
- they finally "unite" near Alfdorf-Hüttenbühl to form the "Rot", which later leads into the "Lein".
