Very beautiful, literally breathtaking Levada near Ponta do Sol. The entrance was free at the time of the hike and the path was largely maintained, but super narrow. The railing is missing in some places, so a head for heights is really required - in some places we had to step into the water of the Levada

Madeira ๐ก Hausbesuch: Die Traditionellen Hรคuser in Santana
Die traditionellen Hรคuser in Santana sind eines der Wahrzeichen der Insel. Fรผr den nahegelegenen Markt in Santana waren wir leider etwas zu spรคt dran. Aber in den Hรคuschen kann man bei Bedarf auch einiges an Souvenirs erstehen. Den Rรผckweg zum Parkhaus wollten wir eigentlich รผber den Levada-Weg (siehe km 1,9) machen, der war aber z.T. verwildert, also gings doch auf gleichem Weg zurรผck.
