Reconstruction of a Celtic pillar slot wall.

I haven't been to the Alteburg for a long time and was appalled by the state after "cleaning up" there (as of October 2020). Yes, some trees fell over there in spring, but should you clear away the severed branches, stumps, etc. on such a signposted, tourist area, at least so that the area is accessible again? And much more serious: heavy equipment (which was obviously used here) has no place in the historical area.
Nevertheless, the only reasonably researched and for visitors well documented ring wall in the Spessart is always worth a detour. Perhaps the forestry operations will be dealing more sensitively with the area again when there are more visitors again.
