If you drive over the bridge between DU-Homberg and DU-Ruhrort, there is a small viewing platform above the Mecatorinsel. From there you can enjoy the Rhine ships, a small port facility, a view of Ruhrort towards the bridge towers and a view to the other side of the Green City of DU-Homberg.
