View of Rotmoosferner Glacier

Always one of our first hikes to go in when we have just arrived in Obergurgl. The cable car is quick and easy to get to the Hohe Mut Alm and from there it is easy and without major differences in altitude on the Hohe Mut ridge towards the glacier. The view is incredibly beautiful, and if you have a little more air to run, you can hike to the edge of the glacier and, if necessary, walk over the central moray back to the Rotmoostal to the Schönwieshütte. Don't forget time, because the train doesn't run forever and anyone who reaches the middle station too late has to walk back to Obergurgl. That might be a bit too much for the first day!
