The history of the area around House Orr goes back to the 13th century. First documented, the area was called 1264 "Urre". In 1576, the archbishop of Cologne and the duke of Jülich Berg contested the territorial sovereignty of the territory. As evidenced by the entry in the tranchot card of 1807/1808 and in the original cadastre of 1818/1819, the so-called "Gärtnerhaus", built in the 18th century, is assigned to a formally designed utility and ornamental garden.

The house and grounds around it is fallow for decades and is fenced. Entering forbidden means succinctly. It is a real gem. It was once planned as a tourist spot, but the financiers have probably gotten cold feet. Sure, if the previous step in the Orrer Bach. ;-)
