Tips

The climbing rocks between the castle ruins Trifels and Scharfenberg have fancy names since they are climbed by rock climbers. Even if you do not climb up the rocky outcrops, from here you have a great view of the landscape of the Palatinate Forest and its castles.

Very nice views of rock and surrounding hills.
Here is also hard climbing and that looks partly very spectacular.

On the way back from the ruins of Anebos, the hiker enjoys a beautiful view of the ruins of Münz, also called Scharfenberg.

Very interesting rock formation that attracts many climbers. Especially on weekends you can watch them.

Magic place - Spectacular view over the Palatinate Forest - You can sit here and enjoy the view. Please respect nature conservation and not entering on the sign! The road is dead end and I think most people are passing this point because they do not know it. Then follow in the further course to the beautiful castle Trifels so many other rocks that are also beautiful but you are considered from below standing. This is where I find the most beautiful place. A place to stay. I went twice and loved it.

The nearby Windhof parking is perfect for a tour of the rocks and the castle of Trifels and back. Alternatively, the parking lot below the castle Trifels.

Fascinating views and impressions in the middle of the natural spectacle with the buildings of human hands.
