The Margelchopf, the local mountain of the Grabser, is 2163 meters high. The path from the Isizis ridge to the Margelchopf is well stepped in the rock. Shortly before the summit, a steep ascent is also secured with ropes. It's a really cool short and a little bit craggy way 😄.
The Margelchopf with its beautiful, wide grassed back invites you to linger and the view up here is simply wonderful 😍.

On the Margelkopf (local mountain of Grabs) you have a beautiful view of three nations in the Alpine Rhine Valley.

Thanks to its easy accessibility and the beautiful view, especially of the Rhine Valley, it is the best-known and most frequently visited summit in the group alongside the Alvier. Despite its low altitude, 2162.9 m above sea level according to the national map, the Margelchopf is an impressive, mighty mountain in the Rhine Valley high above the Werdenberg district. The extensive grass plateau on the summit is very rare in this size, it is surrounded on all sides by a belt of rocks, which falls off heavily and steeply, especially towards the north. It is easily accessible only from the south. Source Wikipedia
