    Hiking

The Eschach Valley Bridge is a four-span prestressed concrete bridge with a span of 31m and a length of 443m. The middle pillar of the valley is 80 m high, its foundation is 22 m deep and consists of 64 bored piles.

The bridge was opened to traffic in 1977 and was the model for the even larger Kochertal Bridge.

As impressive as the structure is, the traffic noise unfortunately overshadows large parts of the otherwise very tranquil Eschach Valley.
