The Sankt-Petri-Kirche in Münster was consecrated to Saint Peter (Peter). Simon, nicknamed Petrus (rock), was a fisherman on Lake Genesareth when he - together with his brother Andreas - was called by Jesus Christ to be a "fisherman of men".
